This designation is a formal statement of the University’s appreciation and gratitude for the many ways long-term faculty have advanced the mission of Íæż½ã½ã’s and the innumerable ways they have supported students, colleagues, their disciplines, and the University. Emeritus status also provides a way for retired professors to maintain a formal connection with Íæż½ã½ã’s.
