ż president Marcheta P. Evans, PhD, announced today she has appointed Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna to serve as senior vice president of Institutional Advancement. Osseiran-Hanna, who will officially join the University on February 10, 2025, brings a wealth of experience and an extensive background in strategic fundraising, alumni engagement, and institutional advancement.
“Khatmeh’s passion for creating meaningful relationships and her alignment with ż’s values will undoubtedly inspire and empower our community as we work together to soar to new heights,” said Evans. “I look forward to working alongside her and all of you as we continue to advance the mission of ż.”
Osseiran-Hanna was most recently vice president for University Advancement at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There she led the successful Imagine Unlimited comprehensive campaign that more than doubled the original $40 million goal and closed six months early. As vice president for Institutional Advancement and External Affairs at the College of Staten Island, CUNY, she led the creation of the combined and restructured division, and completed a $20+ million comprehensive campaign. “This is a wonderful opportunity, and one I am thrilled to begin,” said Osseiran-Hanna. “In my meetings with the members of the Institutional Advancement division, and the University Leadership Team, I am confident that we are positioned to carve out an even more engaged community of stakeholders and supporters.”
The division of Institutional Advancement at ż is the hub of revenue development, alumni and community engagement, and strategic partnerships that help support the University’s mission to educate women to lead and influence. As its leader, Osseiran-Hanna will direct the strategic priorities for the division, nurture the University’s culture of philanthropy, and collaborate across all levels.
