The awards project grants to support touring performance exhibitions and other related arts activities throughout Minnesota. The OāShaughnessy was one of forty grant recipients awarded on November 1.
The $68,000 grant will allow The OāShaughnessy to host singer, songwriter, and activist Toshi Reagon and the cast of her operatic adaptation of Parable of the Sower, by Octavia Butler. The residency will include two performances and all ages outreach activities.
