For Catherine Fensom â€ک20, Liza Leja â€ک20 and Pat Schmatz â€ک20, a class project last fall provided an opportunity to live out one of the حوإ¼½م½م’s core values. Tasked with creating a “social justice action plan†in a class on deaf culture, the three American Sign Language (ASL) students decided to look at police relations with the deaf community.
